Self-hosting
Ritto Mail is open source — run your own instance from the repository.
Ritto Mail is offered as a hosted service at app.ritto.email, and it is also open source under the AGPL-3.0. The source lives at github.com/ritto-tech/ritto-mail.
A self-hosted instance runs the same dashboard and API and sends through your
own AWS SES account. Everything you need to run one — prerequisites, the
environment reference, AWS setup, SES events, the SMTP relay, TLS, backups
and upgrades — is in the repository's
SELF_HOSTING.md,
which is the reference for running your own instance.
Once your instance is up, the rest of these docs apply as they are: use your
instance's API origin wherever the examples use https://api.ritto.email.
